Storytime & Art (Spring 2025)

If your older preschooler is ready to move on from Art Play, but is still not old enough for the Art Explorers class, this class is for them! Each week we read a book and follow up with a coordinating art project. Once kids are finished, they are free to play with sensory stations, such as playdough, sensory bins, light table and more. Each class is 1 hour long.

This class is designed for ages 3.5-5. If you have a newly turned 3 year old, please wait until a few more months until they are old enough. This class is designed to be a drop-off class. If your little one needs some extra support the first few times, you are welcome to stay with them. But feel free to take a walk or grab a coffee while your children are in class, we lock the doors once everyone is there! We do not have much of a waiting area in our studio, but if you choose to/need to stay (or need to stay for medical, or similar reasons), please stand back and watch your little one create independently :)

No Classes on Monday May 26th (Memorial Day)

DRESS

Please dress your child in clothes that are okay to get ruined or messy. Certain paint colors of ours do stain. We provide aprons but kids often do not want to wear them.

MAKE-UP WEEK

We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but instead offer a week at the end of the session for children to make-up their absences. Alternatively, you may join another similar class the same week you are absent, if it works for your schedule.

ALLERGIES

If your child has as severe allergy to wheat, oats, lentils, rice, beans (with the exception of playdough, all of these things are used dry and uncooked) or anything else commonly used in sensory play, please send me and email in advance so we can avoid using it in the class you attend. There is a spot on the form to list allergies, but it is helpful to also bring attention to the allergy to me via email.
