Class Experience
Workout and develop competitive team skills. These students may not desire to compete but desire more of a challenge. If they do decide they want to compete, they'll be ready!!
Class Requirements
- OPSD students already participating in the 21st Century gymnastics afterschool program.
- Mr. Wright and Coach Samiah must approve participation.
- Students must be in good standings at school and in the afterschool program to participate.
- Must have AAU youth athlete membership: https://aausports.org/membership
Other Things To Know
NO REFUNDS. Payment for tuition is due whether or not athlete attends class/practice. Parents/Guardians must notify the Athletic Arts Academy via email 30 days prior to next billing cycle for cancellations. More info click HERE.
What To Bring
- Hair neat and off the face.
- GIRLS: must wear leotards (one-piece bathing suits and unitards are permissible). Close fitting spandex/cotton shorts or leggings are recommended.
- BOYS: may wear compression shirt, tank top, or t shirt that can be tucked into athletic shorts that have no belt hoops or zippers or pockets with athletic undergarments/leggings under shorts (like football practice attire). Sweatpants or sweat jackets are okay.
- ALL: No baggy clothing. No special shoes required. No jewelry. Students must bring a reusable bottle of water to stay hydrated and reduce plastic waste.

There were a variety of activities, and the instructor was detailed and professional. My daughter loved it.

About Athletic Arts Academy
Gymnastics is a vehicle the Athletic Arts Academy utilizes to drive our youngest citizens toward good health and lifelong success. The Athletic Arts Academy operates in 10,500 square feet, Olympic-styled facility located in Orange, NJ, central to North Jersey’s urban metropolitan. We provide year-round youth fitness and athletic programs from beginner to competitive levels—from cartwheels to competition.
The Academy provides school-age childcare, camps, and hosts sanctioned multi-state sporting events. We are contract service providers to New Jersey state child welfare services agencies and local school districts. The Athletic Arts Academy is a member of multiple national youth sports leagues.
Our professional team consists of nationally certified gymnastics trainers with backgrounds in social work, childhood education, emergency response, and more. The Athletic Arts Academy builds confidence, physical wellbeing, and grit utilizing the sport of Gymnastics.
