Join us for an immersive two-day art camp where you'll design and create your very own mini piñata from scratch! Our time-tested techniques will guide you through crafting an adorable piñata, bringing it to life with vibrant colors, rich textures, and intricate tassel details.
Day 1: Conceptualization and Construction

Design Inspiration: Begin by exploring various piñata styles and themes to spark your creativity. -
Sketching Your Piñata: Draft your unique design, considering shape, size, and decorative elements. -
Building the Framework: Learn to construct the base structure using cardboard, ensuring a sturdy yet lightweight form.
Day 2: Decoration and Final Touches

Applying Color and Texture: Bring your piñata to life by adding layers of colorful tissue paper. -
Adding Tassels and Embellishments: Enhance your creation with tassels, fringes, and other decorative details to make it truly unique. -
Final Assembly: Ensure all elements are securely attached and add any finishing touches.
Throughout the camp, our experienced instructors will provide personalized guidance, fostering an environment that encourages creativity and skill development. By the end of the two days, you'll have a charming mini piñata to take home, along with the knowledge and confidence to create more on your own.

CAMP REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL. No refunds or make-up days for missed camps. Registrations can be transferred to a different camp week during the current session, for the same artist, with a minimum of 7 days notice, space permitting.

About Viridian Art
Our studio believes in a traditional art education that is both challenging and exciting. Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. In our studio classes, you will learn techniques in charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Working primarily from photographs and still life. Building skills in sketching, composition, value & shading, color mixing & matching, and how to create a finished work of art.
