Class Experience
Join us for 40-minutes of music and movement for your little one. Class is taught by a professional performer and is desigend to encourage milestones (eye contact, clapping, crawling, walking, shape and color recognition, hand-eye coordination, letters and numbers, following instructions, and much more) through song and dance.
You may bring your own props or use the sanitized props we will pass out and clean up during class. Typically we use: shakers/bells, scarves and drums/tambourines (occasionally, we will also use hoops and various other props). Teachers typically arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class. If you have any trouble, please call/text us at: (Sarah) 646-469-1777, (Maegan) 646-725-7457. We can't wait to sing & dance with all of you!
***A La Mode is a very small space. We ask that there is only one adult per child. On occassion, you're welcome to bring a second adult BUT any additonal adults will have to sit outside the room if there isn't space. We also ask that you keep talking down during class to help the little ears in the room from becoming overwhelmed. Thank you for your help!***
Other Things To Know
Adults must stay in the room with their child for the entire class (this is not a drop-off class). NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED. BOTTLES & NUT FREE LIQUIDS ARE OK, BUT ALL FOOD (BABY FOOD AND SNACKS INCLUDED) MUST BE CONSUMED OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!

Joy did fantastic job yesterday and today. She taught class by herself yesterday and it was an unruly group. She managed all of the students and made it fun!

that it was in an ice cream shop. professional instructors.
Improvements:
there was music and two instructors on a speaker at the same time, the noise level is too loud for a small space like this. toys inside were a destruction to our son. we felt our son was too old for this class, he is now 2.5 years old.

About Juliette & Ella's Play Date
Juliette and Ella's Play Date is a creative music and movement class created by NYC moms, Sarah Post and Maegan Woodin. Join us for our one-of-a-kind, award-winning music and movement class for babies and toddlers. Our 45-minutes classes are jam packed with fun, familiar songs, movement and dance that cleverly encourages your little one to reach specific milestones (waving, clapping, crawling, walking, speaking, jumping, letter/number recognition, shape recognition, color recognition, etc).
Created and taught by professional singers and dancers/ballerinas, our classes are entertaining for the whole family and incredibly beneficial for young babies and toddlers (and their development). We love incorporating ASL (American Sign Language) as well as introducing children to various instruments and basic dance technique.
