Musical Theatre Camp - FULL DAY - (Ages 5.5 -8)

I Can Do That NYC is New York's premier destination for children to explore their passion for singing, dancing, acting, and performing! We offer a unique opportunity for kids to learn from Broadway professionals, Jeff and Melissa, and their team of ICDT NYC theatre experts. In a safe and nurturing environment, your child will build confidence and a lifelong love for the arts.

Each week, campers will dive into scenes, songs, and dances from a different Broadway show or movie musical. They'll learn choreography inspired by the show, explore characters and character development through scene work and improvisation, and develop their singing abilities as they learn and interpret songs. Camp culminates in a fun Broadway-inspired performance for family and friends! With A NEW SHOW EVERY WEEK there's always something exciting to explore. Past shows include, "The Little Mermaid," "Singin' in the Rain," "Frozen," "High School Musical," "Matilda," and more!

Please note that a typical day for full-day campers begins outdoors in Stuyvesant Town (on the Lower East Side) and continues indoors during the afternoon at the Training Zone on East 19th and 1st Avenue, or one of our other studio locations.

Children attending full day must be 5.5 and/or have completed Kindergarten or higher to attend a full day program. 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL LEVELS WELCOME! BUT this is not your average day camp. We play and have lots of fun, but we work hard and focus on musical theatre and learn a good amount of material. The kids that flourish in our camp are the kids that have a real interest in musical theatre. With that said, we love kids to try our camp and perhaps fall in love with it.
