Class Experience
Join our subscription cooking classes starting at 9am - 10:30am any Monday through Friday. Think weekly group personal training at small gyms like F45 & Alloy, where participants come in two or three times per week to get buff, but during this class, you'll be lifting and flexing your culinary muscles.
Imagine, in one month, you will have learned 24 - 36 recipes!
Sign up for 1, 2 or 3 days per week or drop-in. Attend class on set scheduled days for 60-90 minutes. If you purchase a monthly membership you can learn up to 24 - 36 recipes per month that will inspire you to become a better cook at home.
Purchase the full four month semester and learn over 100 recipes.
You'll begin to expand your horizons in bite sized chunks, flexing your culinary muscles to help you eat better, and more effectively controlling your overall grocery budget.
Who is this for?
This subscription class is great for those who don't have huge chunks of time to invest at night or weekends, when we have most of our cooking classes.
Bring your kids
Your children are welcome to sit in our dining area in front of the TV or your provided screen, we have snacks but you are welcome to bring whatever they want to eat. Bring your strollers, park your baby seats--whatever works for you. There is no charge for this. Most of the staff are parents and we care about kids.
Allergies & Food Restrictions
We will accommodate your allergies and food restrictions. Please provide that information in the registration. Vegetarian, non-dairy and gluten-free substitutions available for every class.
Menu
Each class will be based on skills and techniques we use in our culinary bootcamp classes including knife skills, stocks, mother sauces, cooking methods, baking and pastry, desserts, breads, dinners, entertaining, and more. We will never repeat recipes but you will repeat techniques and learn new skills day after day.
Your purchase includes:
• One seat in the class
• Recipes, which will be emailed at the end of class
• Live step-by-step cooking instruction
Classes are approximately 90 minutes.
Price is per person, and unfortunately, Sawyer is limited in its ability to register multiple adults for a single class. So, if you would like to register another adult for this class, you must sign them up as your child. Simply choose "ADD CHILD” and enter your guests name and a birthday. This will allow you to register another participant. Price is per person, so it will add the additional cost for the seat. Or you can have your guest(s) create an account and register themselves separately.
If you have any issues, please email us at info@cookologyonline.com or call us at (703) 433-1909 press 1.

Loved:
Nothing- we left after the cupcakes went into the oven
Improvements:
Not enough instructors for a group of multiple tables. Should be a ratio of one instructor per table like all other schools or less people.

Response from Cookology at Ballston Quarter
Nice try. Yes we all watched you - your disdain was for the other attendees - and your subsequent walkout was your little protest. To the contrary, everyone in this class had a lot of fun - the food was amazing - evidence of it is on Instagram, and the 5 star review for the same class. Please do not return.
