Class Experience
Tunes 4 Tots® teaches actual music concepts to even the youngest of children in a fun and interactive way! Through a variety of age-appropriate aural, visual, and physical activities, our engaging and research-based program prepares little ones for a lifetime of making music. Children will explore rhythm, pitch, form, & style. Tunes 4 Tots® will provide a variety of props to facilitate learning.
**For outdoor classes, please be sure to bring a blanket or yoga mat for your family to sit comfortably on!

I love how engaging and educational it was for my daughter! She was having fun for the entire time.
Improvements:
Maybe an Indoor option for rainy days to keep the classes from being cancelled. The umbrellas were nice for the light drizzle though.

My girls love it.
Improvements:
I would prefer more instruments to try out but my girls seem to really be enjoying themselves. Maybe a kid-sized guitar, chimes, piano, drums, bells, symbols.

Did not love the class.
Improvements:
I am not one to complain, but that was a miserable experience and not at all what I expected for a baby and toddler class. The instructor showed up over 5 minutes late for a 30 min class with no apology. He was completely unengaging and difficult to hear and understand despite me asking him to sing louder. Never shared his name and barely engaged with my son or the other participant. Then, he still ended at 11am despite showing late and starting the class 10 after.

Being more enthusiastic and energetic with the kids. Also provide a refund when your kids don’t like the classes.

About Tunes 4 Tots
Tunes 4 Tots has been named Washington DC's BEST music class by Washington Parent Magazine for two years running! We are bringing our award winning classes to New York City summer 2024! Our general music classes focus on fundamental music concepts such as high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, and keeping a steady beat. Our talented music teachers will also explore with students and demonstrate for them more advanced music concepts. Tunes 4 Tots provides our infant and toddler music classes in a variety of settings. We partner with local schools to provide weekly music classes, and we also have community classes where we partner with local businesses or meet at local parks. Lastly we have our private small group music classes which meet at the location, day, and time of your choice! You create the group, we send the teacher. So- if you don't see a class that suits your needs, be sure to reach out!
