Class Experience
This camp is designed for ages 6-13 to learn computer science skills (typing, coding) along with educational activities, all from their home computer. We help create future computer science leaders!
In the Spring Break camp students will participate in activities revolving around the Easter theme. Students learn art programs to create Easter egg designs and create an Easter project while learning GOOGLE SLIDES. Typing activities with fun themes to help your child learn the keyboard and increase their wpm and accuracy skills. Coding activities with favorite characters like MINECRAFT, BARBIE & more. Engineering fun by designing cities, playgrounds, treehouses and more. MATH fun using activities your child can use at home to excel in math skills. Also, students will learn the history of when and how video games were created. Enroll for one camp day or more. Enrolling for the full week students will do all of the activities. Half-way through our program students have a stretch break with our famous "Virtual Dance Party". And, yes, MARIO will be there and SONIC to dance along with!

Classes are Non-Refundable if you miss a class or have to cancel, but we will be happy to schedule you a makeup class within 30 days.

Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.

The dance off at the end, really perked by son up. The activity was fun and challenging too.

About Computer Kids Club, LLC
CKC is a computer science & academic program designed for Pre-K through 6th grade students. Your instructor, Ms. P., has a Computer Science degree with over 20 years of experience teaching students in the field of technology and operates a licensed computer training school. We offer a 1 hour specific computer science or academic class, 1.5 hour after-school enrichment and summer camps and school break camps which are usually 2-3 hours.
In all of our sessions students are taught an overall education in computer terminology and programs they will utilize during their elementary years and beyond. This is an important program your child will need to succeed in virtual learning and benefit from for years to come. Students participate in typing activities, coding, math, engineering and computer arts learning all of the computer program navigation skills they need. Programs offer a fun theme like Minecraft, StarWars, Rubiks Cube, Barbie, American Girl and so much more. Most classes students will design their own project to cherish using the Google programs.
Overall, our goal is to prepare children on the functions of how to use a computer for their school years ahead and to prepare our future leaders for the countless number of jobs requiring a computer education. Learning computer science skills at the elementary level will help your child further discover skills and eventually use them in middle, high school, college and beyond in a career, which, no doubt, will include computer use in one way or the other. Computer careers include, programming, graphic design, animation, engineering, operating medical equipment and so much more.
NOTE: You can sign up by 12:00 p.m. on the same day of the session to participate. Also, our Zoom Room runs on EASTERN TIME, so if you are on the West Coast or Midwest you will sign onto the session 1, 2, or 3 hours BEFORE the session time that is posted. I look forward to teaching your child computer skills to use for a lifetime!
