Class Experience
The Secret Theatre is hosting 8 weeks of amazing Summer Camps at our Skillman and Woodside locations. Each week an experienced Theatre Camp professional will take the kids from Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm through the process of learning a show which usually includes a couple of songs. At the end of the week on Friday the campers present a show which is presented afternoons to the parents and friends for free.
We have been running Summer Camps for over 10 years now and have built up a large repertoire of original shows written by Artistic Director, Richard Mazda, including The Pig That Cried Wolf, Smoke Machine, The Little Ghost, Zombie Beach, Grimm’s School for Fantastic Abilities, Space Cowboy and many more. Each week we learn and perform a different show.
Suitable for 6 – 12 years [Please note all campers MUST be able to read to a basic level]
The Secret Theatre Academy offers a quality experience that is fun and educational and for that reason the camp sizes are notably small and never more that 14 kids per session
Notes
Campers must bring their own lunch! But we will provide snacks and water or juice.
No eating or drinking during class other than water. Campers will get (2) snack breaks during the day!

About The Secret Academy
Secret Theatre Academy grew from the launch of The Secret Theatre’s original venue in Long Island City which only closed because of Covid lockdown. We launched the theatre in late 2009 and then founded our drama school a couple of years later. We have taught hundreds of young students, drama, dance, and singing skills, we have produced several shows including Seussical and Annie which featured minor actors in full productions. Our actors have been in films, theatre shows, and our batting average in assisting students who wish to attend performing arts High School is very high. We currently have students at La Guardia HS for the Performing Arts, Professional Children’s School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, Professional Performing Arts School, Talent Unlimited, and many others.
