New Kids Tennis Session 2_403.07

New Kids Tennis is a relatively new USTA-sanctioned format that helps children learn and play the game of tennis. To make it easier for them a few things have changed -- the court size, the racquet sizes, the tennis balls, the scoring system and the height of the net. This means that more children will have the opportunity to experience the game, have fun playing with their friends and develop the skills that will become the foundation of their game. COACH Quennie will assign students to classes (either 3:00 to 3:45pm -OR- 3:50 to 4:35pm) according to age and ability with preference given to returning students. Please enroll in your preferred option but your session is not guaranteed. Generally, kindergarten and first grade are placed in session one. Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades are placed in session 2. Children assigned to the second session may sign up for Bridge the Gap care at minimal cost.

Your child is registered for New Kids Tennis on Fridays. Coaches will place your player in either the CLASS 1 (3:00 - 3:45pm) or CLASS 2 (3:50 - 4:35pm) depending on age and ability. Please enroll in your preferred options but session is not guaranteed. Those placed in CLASS 2 qualify for supervision from 2:50 - 3:45pm at minimal expense ($.25/semester).
