Class Experience
Join us for our award winning music and movement class in the park. Created by NYC moms, Maegan Woodin (professional ballerina) and Sarah Post (professional singer), this fun-filled class is strategically designed to encourage baby and toddler milestones through song and dance. Praised by speech therapists and occupational therapist for using sensory stimulating props to promote cognitive skills, fine motor skills, and language; our classes also includes a splash of sign language and story time. Our teachers are all professional singer-dancers making this class not only educational, but entertaining for the whole family!
Bring your own blanket to sit on and you may bring your own props (recommended for babies under 12 months) or use the sanitized props we will pass out and clean up during class. Typally we use: shakers/bells, scarves and drums/tambourines (occasionally, we will also use hoops and various other props). Teachers typically arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class. We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before the start of class so you can find the group and set up your blanket. ***Please note, due to noise complaints and respect for the park visitors, our classes in Carl Schurz are a bit quieter than our usual classes. If you're looking for a more upbeat class, check out any of our other locations throughout the city. Thank you for understanding!**

We love Sam so much! His energy and positivity are so infectious. Olivia is wonderful too - always making Dottie Sue feel special and included. Great music and sign language and just an all around good time.
Improvements:
Tbh nothing - this is everything I want in a kids music class.

About Juliette & Ella's Play Date
Juliette and Ella's Play Date is a creative music and movement class created by NYC moms, Sarah Post and Maegan Woodin. Join us for our one-of-a-kind, award-winning music and movement class for babies and toddlers. Our 45-minutes classes are jam packed with fun, familiar songs, movement and dance that cleverly encourages your little one to reach specific milestones (waving, clapping, crawling, walking, speaking, jumping, letter/number recognition, shape recognition, color recognition, etc).
Created and taught by professional singers and dancers/ballerinas, our classes are entertaining for the whole family and incredibly beneficial for young babies and toddlers (and their development). We love incorporating ASL (American Sign Language) as well as introducing children to various instruments and basic dance technique. Each class is custom designed to encourage appropriate milestones and keep your little one engaged. We are honored that our classes are praised and recommended by NYC's top occupational therapists and speech therapists and that we have been named NYCs #1 BEST Music class for babies and toddlers.
