Class Experience

This workshop will focus on the elements of outdoor painting and natural light.

Emphasis will be on learning to see color and light in order to create color relationships in the landscape. Viewing a short demonstration each day, students will learn techniques such as how to approach their painting using a palette knife, and incorporating value and composition considerations into each painting. We will go out each day and paint a different scene; organizing the landscape in the simplest way to create successful paintings.
