Class Experience
Level 1 is a 6 week session focusing on the introduction to American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. You will develop a strong basic ASLary (OUR word for vocabulary), syntax, and grammar. You will learn numbers 1-100, visual discrimination, practice fingerspelling and begin to understand the use of space and gestures. You will be introduced to interacting with the Deaf community and begin your journey!

You may cancel your order or enrollment prior 7 days from the first day of class for a full refund or credit.
* Please note that a charge of 6% will be given with refunds due to processing fees.
How To Participate
You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions.

Samantha Jo is an amazing instructor! Her energy and clarity makes for such a fun, fulfilling learning experience.
Improvements:
Nothing so far. I really appreciate that SLC jumped in after our first teacher didn’t show up for our second class. It is clear that they care about their students experience and the quality of instruction- the difference between the first instructor and Samantha Jo is night and day!
