Loved:
The instructor.
Improvements:
I think I’d rather focus less on classifiers and more on vocab and conversational but perhaps that’s what’s up next for me in the convo a class!

Loved:
The instructor. Paulette is a fantastic teacher. She is encouraging and engaging. It was really nice to have her as a teacher for levels 4, 5, and 6.
Improvements:
The Activities in Level 6 could be improved by focusing predominately on the review of ASLary from Classes 1-5. When you're in Level 6, you should already know the material from 1-5. Having conversations would be more helpful than reviewing culture, which although is super important, was often known to the class because of their involvement with the deaf community. **Culture is super important but it could be at the end of each class for 10-15 minutes rather than the majority of the class.

Loved:
Friendly encouraging environment, I like the ALS history and culture, I like the grammar, and I like the vocabulary practice.
Improvements:
At times when we need to practice together it might be helpful to stop screensharing so we can see each others faces and hands more. I use the split screen view so I can make everyone bigger but I don't know if others know this. The embedded videos in the presentation were difficult to follow sometimes because of lag.

Great in teaching story telling
Improvements:
The class was a bit basic for me. I was expecting the students to know a lot more signs and be able to read fingerspelling. This slowed the class down. Our breakout sessions I had to really go slow so the other students can understand me. This was more of a level 3 class than 6.

Loved:
The exercises are both fun and challenging and I have learned so much from them, as well as conversing with the instructor and the other students in class. The small class allows all of us to interrupt to ask questions and each have individual attention while supporting one another in the group. Mia is FANTASTIC!!! She is SO supportive and fun and helpful and is very clear in explaining the linguistics and the various ways of communicating information through native signing.
Improvements:
Sometimes the pdf's provided to us don't match the ones the instructor is using.
