Art on the farm: Desert Landscapes and Animals with Zenith Way Art Studio at Mighty Minds

Get ready to dive into the awesome world of the desert with

Zenith Way Art Studio’s Art on the Farm: Desert Landscapes &

Animals series at Mighty Minds! From March 26 to May 14, kids

aged 6 to 15 can join in on a fun, creative adventure through the

desert’s amazing landscapes.

Here's what's in store for you: You will sculpt a desert tortoise,

explore unique desert plants and pick up the basics of drawing in

perspective. We will complete a landscape painting of the barns

and horizon view on the farm. We’ll try out different art materials

like clay, chalk pastels, paint, and colored pencils to express our

ideas and sharpen our art skills. Each Homeschool class will

include a 30 minute session of equine assisted learning activities.

This program isn’t just any art class—it’s a chance to see the

world in a brand-new way! Set at the inspiring Mighty Minds, a

hub for creativity and imagination, our session is your ticket to

connecting with nature, finding your artistic voice and interacting

with the animals.

Students will develop fine and large motor skills, increase dexterity, improve hand-eye coordination, boost self-esteem, encourage self-expression, aid in socialization, promote innovation and creativity, enhance decision-making skills, and improve memory and spend time with the amazing farm animals! Want to learn to ride horses too? You can sign up for our 9-12 farmschool to make a full day at the farm from 9-2 or we will be adding on a small group riding class from 11-12pm too!
