Class Experience
Create an interactive web game using HTML and Javascript. Students learn the fundamental concepts of programming like variables, functions, conditionals and loops by making a professional-looking web game with nothing but a text editor and some creativity. Weekly Classes: Check-in (5 min) We start our curriculum promptly, so students should be logged into both Zoom and the online coding platform (https://repl.it) at the beginning of the session. The teacher ensures everyone is ready to participate and engage. Coding Concepts (25 min) The teacher demonstrates the day's project and how it will work. The enthusiasm sustains the students through the ups and downs of making the code work. Kids learn how to overcome things that "don't work" by figuring it out with the teacher. Coding concepts that will be used in the project will be covered. Project Coding (30 min) The teacher demonstrates the connection between the concepts and the day's project. Students work on the project with frequent check-ins by the teacher. Students will have time to add their own personal customizations to the project. Ownership of the project sustains interest in the project and coding. Age ranges are approximate. If you are unsure which class would be best for your child, please feel free to reach out to us at info@penguincodingschool.com and we would be happy to help.

Loved:
My teacher is very generous and fun to be with. Also, I like how our teacher is invaluable in the app coding.
Improvements:
I don't think that anything should be improved except to put people your age ( for example, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13). But still, I like it!
