Class Experience
In our storyboard course, we explore the visual language of storytelling. Through essential drawing exercises, you'll learn to construct dynamic narratives, choose elements for efficient storytelling, and depict emotional changes between characters. We delve into understanding how moving productions work by studying examples from graphic novels, movies, TV series, and commercials. Analyzing scenes and drawing them out, we'll focus on the use of camera angles to enhance storytelling. The course concludes with professional feedback and critique to guide you on your exciting journey into storyboarding.

"I had such a fun experience taking Illustration for Comics and Storyboarding. The teacher is a professional; he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the material. He always came prepared for the activities listed in the syllabus but was happy to pivot in the direction of class interest. I came into it as a beginner artist and he took the time to teach me the basics of illustration. It was a casual and comfortable vibe every week and I’m really excited to keep practicing what he taught me."- Google Review

Excellent class and projects. My daughter had a great time and really liked the teachers.
Improvements:
Based on what my daughter said there wasn’t a ton of room for creativity- she felt like she had to stick to the way the teacher said to do the projects.
