Class Experience
The Vorschule class engages our smallest learners. Our native-speaking German teachers playfully teach your children the beginnings of the German language through circle time, arts and crafts, simple lessons, singing, stories, and guided play and through encouragement to interact in German. Classes are based on various topics covered in Spielerisch Deutsch lernen - Erste Wörter und Sätze [ISBN 978-3-19-009470-7]. Parents are strongly encouraged to purchase this text to allow for extra practice at home.

- Children must be potty trained
What you'll learn
- Classes are organized around thematic topics (colors, animals, family members, calendar, numbers, letters, holdiays, food)
Sample Class Format
- Sample Daily Schedule:
- Greeting and Arrival (15 minutes)
- Song (15 minutes)
- Circle Time Activity /Check in (20 minutes)
- Lesson and activity (30 minutes)
- Clean up and Dismissal (10 minutes)
Other Things To Know
- Prior to first class – 90% refund of the tuition amount
- Prior to the second class – 70% refund
- Prior to the third class – 50% refund
- No refund is available after the third class

Loved:
My child enjoys class and his interest in the German language has increased even though we don’t speak it fluently at home.
Improvements:
I can’t think of an improvement but something to be aware of is that the class activities may vary a little depending on who the instructor is for the session.

Small group and Andrea was very warm and inviting to the children. She seemed to encourage them beyond their comfort level.
Improvements:
Perhaps a chance for children at end to sing a song or just some little chance to show off what they have learned.

The effort Frau Jackson puts into preparing her classes. The content is wonderful. She has great teaching skills and is so patient and caring with the kids
