Class Experience
Meet, greet, read and create with Dr. Becky at this special edition of Minni Art Book Club. Class will begin with Dr. Becky reading her newest book That’s My Truck! where a favorite truck, a frustrated sibling, and a big reaction collide in this heartfelt story about how tough moments can become opportunities for connection and growth. Following the book reading, a Minni instructor will lead students through an appropriately themed art project. There will be time at the end of class for students and caregivers to spend time in the studio with Dr. Becky. Space is limited for this incredibly unique and special gathering.
This event is for students 1.5–5 years old to attend with one caregiver. Cost of registration includes class and a copy of Dr. Becky’s latest book That’s My Truck!
Please note that space is extremely limited and we are requesting caregivers do not bring strollers to this event as it will block entrances to other businesses.
About Dr. Becky:
Dr. Becky Kennedy, also known as Dr. Becky, is a clinical psychologist, mom of three, and the visionary founder and CEO of Good Inside, a breakthrough parenting company and next-generation movement. Through her #1 New York Times bestselling book, TED Talk, and chart-topping podcast, Dr. Becky has built a global community of millions of parents who turn to her for practical, sturdy, and compassionate advice.
About Dr. Becky’s Debut Children’s Book:
In her highly anticipated debut picture book, That’s My Truck! A Good Inside Story About Hitting, #1 New York Times bestselling author Dr. Becky tackles one of the most common parenting challenges head-on.
When Charlie walks into the playroom, his little sister, Pia, is playing with his truck . . . not just any truck, his favorite truck. Charlie’s feelings completely overwhelm him, taking over his whole body, and before he knows it, he hits his sister—hard. This engaging story not only offers parents valuable insights and strategies to address a problem behavior like hitting, but also helps children separate their behavior from their identity and cope with big feelings.
