Class Experience
Our NYC Kids Camps summer day camp from big messy art, hands-on science projects, theater, music, sports, and outdoor activities, our campers do it all! For twos is specifically designed for children 3 years of age. Children have the opportunity to build classroom skills in a positive and supportive environment within a group setting. We approach separation in a gentle and nurturing way by working closely with each family. If your child is not yet separated please contact the camp director at admin@perryschool.com to discuss a separation plan. By creating a thoughtful, sensitive, and fun environment, children will feel secure and become engaged and motivated at NYC Kids Camps.

- Morning Schedule
- 9:00: Arrival
- 9:00-9:20: Classroom for open-ended summer science & nature themed activities
- 9:20-9:40: Little Musician’s Room with professional music educators who play guitar, piano & various instruments
- 9:40-10:00: Children’s Art Factory Room for art projects and open-ended sensory play/exploration
- 10:00-10:30: Sky Room for little spartans sports/athletics & movement game
- 10:30-11:00: Snack/Choice time (Nut Free)
- 11:00-11:45: Outdoor play includes neighborhood walks, visits to local gardens, libraries, & local businesses
- 11:45-12:00: Storytime/Goodbye Circle
- 12:00: Dismissal

Other Things To Know
Students are entitled to a full refund, which leads to a $25 cancellation fee per day, up to 30 days before the day(s) being canceled. No refunds will be processed past this point. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Over the past few months, my daughter has been attending the Boundless Beginnings program at Perry School, and the experience has been exceptional. The standout feature is the Think Tank component—developed by the school’s founder—which focuses on early reading, math, knowledge-building, and critical thinking skills. Through this program, my daughter has learned to recognize words, including her own name, and grasp early math concepts—all in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Improvements:
Everything is perfect! Deeply grateful to the dedicated teachers whose hard work and commitment make this enriching experience possible.

My daughter absolutely loves the Boundless Beginnings program at Perry School. I think it’s one of the best Toddler programs offered in the downtown area. Dawn Lesley Stewart, the Founder/Director leads the Boundless Beginnings program and my child has the opportunity to explore the entire space, including an Art area, the Think Tank room, a giant gym/play room, and the Sound Garden.The classes are 90 minutes long and Dawn puts so much creativity and thought into the lessons each time we visit.

Amazing class! G loved the free play gym area and all the stations in the think tank. Dawn is wonderful with the kids. There was enough time to explore and we can’t wait to try the other offerings.

About Perry School
Hello Families,
Perry School is an 8000 sq ft, sunlit early learning center located at 136 West 10th Street since 2001. We offer enrichment classes and preschool programs for children ages 3 months through 6 years old. Our programs include NYC Kids Play, Baby Moves, NYC Kids Camps, NYC Kids Parties and our beloved Perry School preschool program ages toddler through 4 years.
