Class Experience
The In-person Korean Weekend Discovery for Advanced Beginners is a weekly class, designed for children 2 to 5 years old.
During these 45 minutes of language discovery, students will get the chance to review/reinforce the basics of the Korean language, but also to expand their knowledge by learning sentence structures and vocabulary, with the help of play-based and engaging activities and games.
The class includes arts & crafts, puppets, music, and much more. The students will be motivated to communicate and express themselves in Korean.
To ensure a catered approach and teaching
experience, each session is limited to 6 students.
The class is taught by an experienced and engaging native Korean instructor in a semi-immersive environment.
Our mission is to make learning and speaking a new language a fun and positive experience for little ones!
Class Requirements
- Classes are adapted to the age range of the group and designed for beginners, faux-beginners, and students with some knowledge of the language who could use some basic reinforcement. Therefore, no prior language experience is necessary.
- Basics - such as greetings and introductions - and topics from prior lessons are reviewed at the beginning of each session. A new topic is introduced every week. Students who sign up in the middle of the semester will still be able to catch up - with worksheets from previous lessons. It’s never too late to enroll!
- For consistency of the classes and learning process of all students, we encourage full semester registration. For drop-ins/single classes, please contact us.
- Fee for single class: $55
Sample Class Format
- The class will be limited to 6 students, to ensure a catered approach and enable every child to actively participate in the lesson.
Other Things To Know
100% refundable up to 2 weeks before the start of the session with the $50 restocking fee.
50% refundable less than 2 weeks before the session starts with the $50 restocking fee.
No make-ups, no cancellations, and no refunds after the start.
What To Bring
- Paper, Pencil, Colored Pencils and any other materials the teacher will recommend to bring.
- Kids are welcome to bring their favorite stuffed animal, doll, or any other toy friend.

My son had so much fun in his Korean class! The instructor is warm, friendly and great at her job. This is the perfect play based learning Korean class! I highly recommend this class and will be back!

The class didn’t take place. The door was locked. Nobody was there. This is a total steal of money and time. No parent would want to stroll there with a 15months old child just to find a closed door and nobody to contact. Wrote an email, nobody got back to me.
