Meet your Instructors

Marla P.

As a credentialed teacher, I have been supporting children for over 20 years: having taught from preschool to high school, I appreciate all ages and stages of development. From teaching French language and literature to English language development, supporting subjects in the humanities and sciences, I find that watching children learn is a joy! My three neurodivergent children have varying support needs and sensitivities, and I am dedicated to researching and discovering all sorts of ways to su

Sharon D.

Sharon Duncan, an experienced educator in special education for over a decade, has thrived in public school settings. With a Master's in Sociology from SDSU and teaching credentials in General and Special Education from PLNU, she prioritizes personalized, strengths-based learning using multi-modal approaches in safe, trauma-informed environments. Her diverse background includes recent substitute teaching across all levels and personal insights from raising her neurodivergent son.

Code N.

In their Dojos, kids don't just learn coding - they gain creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. They believe in outcome based learning, which is student-centered approach that emphasizes setting clear learning goals and designing activities and assessments that enable learners to achieve those goals, rather than just completing a set curriculum or coding program. Several of our Senseis (teachers) are neurodivergent as well.

Jessica R.

I have worked with Neurodivergent children for over 10 years and truly enjoy helping children learn how to balance their emotions and behaviors. I believe that all children have the potential to succeed in a safe, fun environment where they can be themselves without judgement
