Toddler Play Group

Figment’s twice weekly Toddler Art Play Group classes are a fantastic way to help your little ones explore and play in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment. Designed for toddlers, but all ages welcome! 

PLEASE NOTE: If a class is full, please still add yourself to the waitlist! If the weather is nice, we hold the class outside and call the entire waitlist to join us!

Our instructors are pros at setting up a variety of delightful sensory and fine-motor-skill stations in our designated Toddler Play Group space. Toddlers are encouraged to explore the activities at their own pace, building confidence in themselves and in their environment. Group time usually closes with a visit to feed our friendly chickens. 

This class focuses on process art and play-based learning. 

PROCESS ART- We believe the process of making art is more important than the outcome. Adults are there to guide children by providing the right materials, teaching technique and assisting along the way. When children take charge of their own creative process, they practice critical thinking, make their own decisions and build confidence. 

PLAY-BASED LEARNING- Part of our child-directed philosophy is play-based learning. Play is the basis of experimental learning. We offer a multitude of sensory and art-based activities to help develop your little one’s fine motor skills and confidence.

Limited spots available. You MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE and when you arrive, check in with our staff. The class is held outside weather permitting. Please find our COVID-19 Safety Plan on our website.

Parking: Our parking lot and main entrance are located just off Brodie Lane on Elija Street. Please enter through the nearby gate and stop by the main office to check in prior to Play Group.
