Exploratory Play

Children learn about themselves and their world through sensory exploration of their surroundings. Exploratory Play, gives your child the opportunity to use their senses and engage in imaginative play with a variety of materials. They’ll have the opportunity to gather, paint, squish, fill, build, manipulate, and imagine up new worlds in this class. By using both ordinary and creative objects, children will have the opportunity to discover what interests them and experiment how they see fit. This class is great for nurturing both cognitive development, and skills like fine muscle control and hand/eye coordination. Created to be responsive to the developmental needs of each child, the class has opportunities for children to engage in types of play that will both challenge and engage them.
