Madhubani intermediate level

We will start with the theory about Mithila or Madhubani Art. It’s history, the different styles and evolution through time. We will learn to sketch some basic motifs. Then we will learn to create the Krishna Raasleela theme on 18X24 size paper. The teacher will demonstrate the steps and motifs needed for the artwork using two most popular Mithila art styles , called Bharni and Kachni. Upon successful completion of the course, the participants should be able to create Madhubani painting on their own .
