Class Experience
Pottery/Wheel Throwing – 2-Hour Semi-Private Lesson
Discover the art of pottery in this hands-on, 2-hour semi-private class! Perfect for beginners and intermediate students, you’ll learn essential clay techniques and experience the thrill of throwing on the pottery wheel. Create your very own cup or bowl while embracing the joy of getting your hands messy in clay. 4-6 spaces avaialable in each session.
Students can choose their 2 best pieces to be fired & glazed by instuctors. Pottery pieces will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks after the scheduled lesson.
Other Things To Know
We can not offer refunds, credits, or make-ups for any of our Specialty Classes. These classes run in shorter sessions, with specific instructors, and are typically smaller classes.

About Viridian Art
Our studio believes in a traditional art education that is both challenging and exciting. Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. In our studio classes, you will learn techniques in charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Working primarily from photographs and still life. Building skills in sketching, composition, value & shading, color mixing & matching, and how to create a finished work of art.
