A Virtual Acting Industry Q&A

The Atlanta Connection brings together three vital perspectives from Atlanta's thriving entertainment industry for an exclusive online panel discussion. Join us as we welcome a casting director, talent agent and an experienced SAG-AFTRA actor for an in-depth conversation about the Southeast's dynamic TV and film market.

This unique Q&A session offers actors valuable insights into the similarities and differences between Atlanta and other major entertainment markets. Our distinguished panelists will share their expertise on what makes Atlanta's industry distinctive and how actors can successfully navigate this growing regional powerhouse. Whether you're considering relocating to the Southeast or simply expanding your career opportunities, this session provides essential knowledge from expereinced professionals.

The conversation will explore Atlanta's casting process, what agents specifically look for in actors considering this market, and practical advice for breaking into the region's booming production scene. Our panelists will discuss how to approach union work in the Southeast, strategies for maintaining a multi-market acting career, and current trends shaping Atlanta's entertainment landscape.

Loved:

I really enjoyed this workshop! It was interesting to watch the auditions and hear the adjustments from both coaches. And then having “callbacks” on the second day and incorporating what we learned to make our auditions better. Both coaches had positive constructive criticism and were very encouraging to everyone. It was a very positive environment and a very complete training experience. I feel like I am already a better actor for attending this workshop. Thank you! Sincerely, Nancy Cole

Improvements:

Can’t think of any improvements, the set up was very professional and the videotaped auditions all looked and sounded good!
