Join UIC Dietetic Graduate Student, Mandy Glow, for a discussion about youth sports nutrition. Open to all ages, this presentation will cover topics like macronutrients, pre- and post- practice snacks and a live demo of a DIY electrolyte drink!
This is geared towards teen athletes.

I loved how engaged the staff was from the moment we walked in. Hands-on and provided great guidance.
Improvements:
Overall, great experience. However, the pasta class should be targeted at 4 -8-year-olds. It can be quite a bit making pasta from scratch for a two-year-old. My son loves pasta! He enjoyed scooping up the ingredients and cutting the veggies. As a suggestion, to save time, something simpler, like preparing topics for flatbread and salad/veggies or prepping quesadillas, is pretty quick, and the wait time will be way faster for toddlers.

The instructor was patient and kind. Giving directions clearly and effectively. She explained why the students needed to do the steps in this order and the science behind creating gluten in the pasta. It was very informative.
Improvements:
