Class Experience
Join Ms. Sarah in the Makerspace to learn all about clay! Each month-long session will include hand building projects using pinch pot, coil, and slab techniques. Various types of surface decoration using glaze, slip, and underglaze will be explored. Projects will vary each session – students can join for one session or continue on to improve their skills! We will fire their creations in our kiln so that they will be ready to display. Ages 8-14 welcome in this mixed age group class.
Notes
Please send your child with a well-labeled snack and refillable bottle of water. We are a PEANUT FREE campus.
Masks are optional at this time. We are monitoring the local authorities' requirements and will be following suggested guidelines.
Figment Creative Labs is located at 7809 Brodie Lane, Austin, TX 78745. Our parking lot and main entrance are located at the side of the property on Elija Street.

They did it again! A fantastic place for birthday parties. The kids were able to spread out and enjoy the space fully with their friends and art projects.
Improvements:
Nothing - the employees were very helpful and were able to roll with when everyone showed up, etc.

we learned a lot! we love figment, the chill vibe of the place and situation, and trying out this multi-step artistic process - can’t wait to see how the tiles turned out :)
Improvements:
perhaps indication of intricate line-work in the workshop description, and tabletop lighting options for low-vision folks
