Class Experience
Over the course of 5 weekly sessions, parent and kids will learn fly fishing basics with their kids. Spring classes are designed for ages 3-10 with at least 1 parent.
Notes
No gear or experience required. Gear (fly fishing rods, reels and flies) will be provided for kids and adults each week. You are welcome to use your own gear.
Class Requirements
- Kids & siblings (ages 3-10) must be accompanied by an adult
Sample Class Format
- Each week will include combinations of the following: intro to fly fishing gear, basic casting techniques, choosing flies, tying basic knots and targeting fish
Other Things To Know
Parents will learn to fly fish with their kids, guided by an instructor.
We will offer a make-up week after the full session concludes in May. Make-up class will be on Saturday May 25, 2024.

Our son really enjoyed learning from Jim again this summer. He's a great instructor who is knowledgeable and patient with the kids. Our son caught so many fish and really enjoyed working on improving his casting.
Improvements:
Would love a half day option again like last year. $200/session is cost-prohibitive for us to do multiple sessions as we have 2 other kids also wanting to do summer camps. Half days would allow us to have Max enrolled in more sessions.
