Loved:
Frau Belz is superbly skilled at designing/using materials in a way that matches students' needs and abilities in learning German. She creates a genuine class camaraderie - each student connects with her and with the other students in a supportive way, plus we have fun doing so. (Truly the best - and I've taken a large number of courses in many settings.)
Improvements:
A little better light for the "senior students" in the classroom.

The teacher is very knowledgeable and approachable! She explains grammar concepts well enough to make them understood.
Improvements:
The course book covers office vocabulary and terminology before introducing food; when actually most people use a foreign language to order in a restaurant before they would work in an office

About German Free School
We offer German classes for all ages, including adult classes and formal classes for homeschool, private school, and other younger learners. We also serve as a Goethe Institute testing center, and our curriculum aligns with the Goethe Institut and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; classes prepare interested students for the Goethe German language proficiency exams, recognized globally as proof of German-language ability.
