Class Experience
As our young artists grow both in age and skill, we feel the need for a more appropriate space. Having that in mind we have opened our teen/high school program, TEEN STUDIO. A two hour long studio time where we will gather to sketch and master new skills for the first 30-40 minutes in our sketchbooks and later scatter to work on independent projects.
The skills we will work on will be: pencil, charcoal, and pastel drawing, color mixing and color theory, shading, painting techniques, clay hand-building techniques and other interests that may arise from our teen artists. After which each artist will work on an artwork of their choice, using the studio space and supplies and have the teacher in studio guide them.

We do not offer makeup sessions or refunds, as we save your spot. You will be commiting to monthly payments until June, if you need to cancel befor eJune, notify the studio 10 days before the 1st of the month.

The instructors are nice speak clear English. The place is clean and in a nice location. The prices are great for walk-ins.

Keep your classes small and hours flexible to accommodate working class.

Easy to understand the instructor, it was fun.
Improvements:
A handout would be great to have with the written instructions on how to mix the formulas. I can't remember and wasn't in a position to write things down.

I really appreciated seeing the high and relaxed level of engagement in the creative process of making art. The instructors are very thoughtful in knowing how to support the childrens' activity, while at the same time encourage their autonomy and sense of agency. The lessons are very carefully planned and structured but also allow for each child's unique talents and interests.
Improvements:
Maybe giving a 5 minute notice that the class will be ending soon and helping the children wind down and organize themselves.
