Class Experience
Digital Art for Tweens and Teens
This class is an exploration in digital art and illustration techniques. We will be learning how to apply the fundamentals of art to digital painting, design, 3D modeling, and more! This class is not software-specific, meaning that your child can use any software they may already have to create digital art (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Paint Tool SAI, etc). We will also recommend free software to download for your child to use. Keep in mind that certain software have minimum requirements to run. If your child is using an iPad to digitally paint, there are many free digital art apps to choose from, or Procreate is a great software used by industry professionals that you can buy for $10.
How To Participate
You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions.
What To Bring
- iPad Pro or comparable drawing tablet (Wacom, Huion, etc)
- Apple pencil or comparable drawing tablet pen
- Procreate app or comparable drawing software (Krita, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Corel)nd pen

I love this weekly watercolor class! Cara is an inspiring teacher, and always has fun projects. In addition to fundamental art concepts of drawing, composition, and color theory, we are encouraged to explore our own styles and materials. Most of the current participants have been taking the class for 4 years. I look forward to Wednesday nights every week!

About The Arterie
We are community art studio (currently virtual) where the creative process meets the finished piece. Our goal is to introduce students to a plethora of artistic mediums and foster an appreciation for art and artists, while teaching the fundamentals of drawing, painting and so much more! We offer art classes, parties, workshops and art camps.
