Class Experience
Embark on an exciting adventure with our Nature Detectives class! This virtual exploration brings the wonders of the outdoors right to your home. Each month, young explorers will showcase the fascinating items they’ve discovered, share captivating stories of their outdoor adventures, and participate in interactive activities like virtual scavenger hunts. Through engaging discussions and creative presentations, children will deepen their connection to nature, learn about environmental stewardship, and have endless fun along the way.
Guardians are encouraged to get to know other like-minded guardians, with optional breakout rooms in larger classes.
*Class is free for all registered families. Feel free to bring a friend or sibling to class with you!
Class meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month!
Class Requirements
- While there are no requirements, having access to nature is very helpful. If you happen to live in a big city and struggle with access to nature, please reach out for suggested alternatives to ensure your learner is feeling included in all activities.
Other Things To Know
Parents are encouraged to assist their children with pre-class preparation, such as ensuring they have their show and tell items. For our outdoor adventures, please ensure your child is monitored.
How To Participate
Attend class via Zoom video
This class will be hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. You will receive an email 30 minutes before class starts with a link to the class and access instructions. We recommend you make sure your device is up to date and meets all system requirements before class.
What To Bring
- Nature show and tell items
- Wireless device to connect to zoom for any 'virtual scavenger hunts'
About Gaia's Little Guardians By Goddess Unlocked
Gaia's Little Guardians is a youth program offered by Goddess Unlocked, designed to integrate spirituality with holistic education. Though it operates under Goddess Unlocked, it has a separate website to focus specifically on children and young teens. Our classes range from imaginative adventures for Seekers (ages 4-6) and engaging spiritual practices for Voyagers (ages 7-10), to advanced spiritual practices for Navigators (ages 11-15), fostering a deep connection with nature and self-awareness.
