Loved:

Travis is a great teacher, always interested in his students’ success. He’s very engaged with each student, at their own level, throughout the class, and gives inspiring demonstrations, often cutting his pieces in half for students to observe how the pottery should be built.

Improvements:

It would be amazing if we had two kilns in the studio - one for low fire, and one for stoneware. (But the glazes that are provided often look like high fire glazes, so that definitely is a plus!)

Emily H.

Emily started her pottery wheel journey in college, graduating with a Bachelor's in 2-Dimensional Art from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. In college she also took pottery wheel courses, two being instructed by the late Walt Glass, someone who really inspired Emily to pursue ceramics further. She started teaching with Inspired Minds when they opened in 2020 and has enjoyed every moment of it from weekly teen and adult wheel classes to pottery painting date nights every first Friday.
