Class Experience
In this 60 minute class, students will explore their creativity while learning a variety of age appropriate art skills and techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpting. We will examine shapes and how to build upon them to create simple animals, landscapes and more. Materials include watercolors, oil pastels and soft pastels, acrylics, colored pencils, polymer clay, and collage. The class is taught as a group lesson, with plenty of freedom allowing each young artist to add personal touches to their masterpieces. This is an ongoing class that runs through out the school year.
Notes
Please send your child in art clothes. Our materials may be hard to remove from clothing. Aprons are available for purchase. No early drop offs. Studio opens 10min prior to start of class.

About Viridian Art
Our studio believes in a traditional art education that is both challenging and exciting. Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. In our studio classes, you will learn techniques in charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Working primarily from photographs and still life. Building skills in sketching, composition, value & shading, color mixing & matching, and how to create a finished work of art.
