Class Experience
Small group art class for students 12+ Enroll monthly for weekly sessions. During our 75 minlong teen class, students learn to sketch with charcoal, creating accurate drawings with value and shading. Soft pastels are the primary material used to create life-like artwork from still life and photographs. We also cover mediums charcoal, acrylic painting, watercolor, pen & ink and more. As students continue to grow, they will graduate to oil painting and learn more advanced techniques in composition, color mixing and matching, and how to build a finished work of art.
Notes
Please come in art clothes. Our materials may be hard to remove from clothing. Aprons are available for purchase. No early drop offs. Studio opens 10min prior to start of class.

My son had a great time. He loved the glow in the dark painting, the slime and the food. He said the slime was the best ever. The staff was very friendly and professional.

About Viridian Art
Our studio believes in a traditional art education that is both challenging and exciting. Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. In our studio classes, you will learn techniques in charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Working primarily from photographs and still life. Building skills in sketching, composition, value & shading, color mixing & matching, and how to create a finished work of art.
