Class Experience
Often called a mini party, kids will craft and play games with our famous Craft Studio energetic team! Trendy multi step projects that explore all different art mediums. We go beyond what the normal and arts and crafts realm offers with a flow that engages kids, eliminates perfectionism, and teaches students that the real fun is in the journey of making our unique and wonderful art!
What To Bring
- Please bring a lunch & snack with you for our designated break times! No allergens should be brought including nuts or eggs!

Loved:
I have 2 boys and a girl under 10 and all 3 love The craft studio. They had birthday parties, camps and classes. The most special thing about here is the instructors and the owner who have been wonderful- passionate, thoughtful, responsible, loving and kind. Classes/activities are creative and keeps kids busy and interactive.

Easy to assemble the house, plenty of candies for decorating, pizza and clear instructions. Both of my kids were happy.

I think the staff is A+ Owen is really good with the kids in a way that is hard to describe: one part older sibling and a me part guru. It’s a great set up for kids who enjoy making crafts: they sit at a big table and work through projects while talking to each other. I think there is a social element that is fabulous.
Improvements:
Nothing is perfect but this program hits lots of key high points: doing something creative, teaching independence since there will be kids your children won’t know and socializing.

It was a silly project and of the three people there the other two caregivers did the stuff for the kids and my granddaughter did her own Honestly I expected a bit more than coloring a crayon box for $44

The craft lessons in our Little Hands classes are meant for adult participation, and cater to a wide age range so toddlers can explore simple elements of art that build upon each other week to week. The Craft Studio on Manhattan's Upper East Side has been a staple for New York City kids of all ages since it opened in 1994. Families can stop by the spacious craft studio throughout the week for a variety of drop-in art projects—think ceramics, watercolor, clay play, canvas , slime and more. The best part: You can bring your item home with you as soon as you finish! The Craft Studio offers afterschool programs, daily classes, camps, seasonal workshops, private art classes, birthday parties (both at the studio or at your home!) and even an "after dark" series of classes and workshops for tweens and parents. Another highlight: The Craft Studio sells an adorable selection of children's toys handpicked by the owner and team themselves. (It's a great place to pick up a birthday party gift!)
