Join our 1.5-hour Wheel Throwing and Hand-Building Ceramics class! This engaging weekly course is designed to help learn the fundamentals of pottery, from wheel throwing to hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Learn how to skillfully use the pottery wheel, explore glazing techniques, and create finished pieces that are both functional and artistic. Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their skills!

About Viridian Art
Our studio believes in a traditional art education that is both challenging and exciting. Our goal is to give our students the skills to become independent artists. Our instructors will act as mentors, creating a personal relationship with each student, guiding them on their own individual artistic journey. In our studio classes, you will learn techniques in charcoal, pastels, acrylics, and oil paints. Working primarily from photographs and still life. Building skills in sketching, composition, value & shading, color mixing & matching, and how to create a finished work of art.
