Foundational Acting for TV & Film

Immerse yourself in our Wednesday night class, a dynamic exploration of character, body work, and script analysis taught from a solid foundational approach. This class is fully supportive of all levels, whether you're a budding actor or a seasoned professional, we believe we have a lot to learn from each other.

Students engage with diverse material, including scenes from TV/Film, stage plays, and monologues. Through physical exercises and warm-ups, you'll open yourself up to a unique and special connection with your craft.

Covering everything from audition techniques to role preparation, character building, and on-camera acting, the power of acting reveals insights about ourselves, others, and the world we inhabit. This is one heck of a class!

Our classes at The Studio NW are ongoing and so is the billing. To support our coaches in crafting tailored lesson plans and to foster a reliable community, we kindly request that you notify us by the 20th of the month if you DO NOT plan to attend class in the upcoming month. This is crucial to your success and ours.

This proactive approach ensures that our students can count on one another's commitment, creating an environment where everyone shows up ready to engage in the work. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and for those who miss class due to work commitments or illness, we offer makeup classes on-line once a quarter.
