Class Experience
Join our inclusive Free Art Jumble for People with Special Needs! Experience the joy of rotating through drawing, painting, mixed media, and slime art. A supportive and creative environment awaits, fostering self-expression and celebrating unique talents.
This class will be led by Honest Art Teaching Artists and assistants. If your artist will require any special assistance, please make sure to arrange for that assistance to be available during the class. If you'll require any special accommodations from the Studio, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate all artists.
Note: This class is only available at no-cost for people with a diagnosed disability. We would prefer this class be an exclusive event for the special needs community, but if you want to bring a guest/sibling to participate in the class, we ask that you please pay for this person. (This does not apply to caregivers.)
Notes
By registering for classes, you grant Honest Art permission to use you and/or your children's images for all marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to brochures, website and social media. Please contact the office with any questions.
Other Things To Know
- Classes not canceled at least 24hrs before start time incur a $20 No-Show Fee
- Drop-In/Trial & 4 Class Memberships canceled within 48hrs of purchase may be refunded
- Unlimited Memberships require a 3mo mmitment and a 1mo notice period to cancel

My son is at his most grounded, engaged, and creative during this wonderful class. Activities are clearly defined enough that he is confident in what to do, yet open enough that he can make artistic choices. The teacher is so warm, thoughtful, and encouraging.
Improvements:
My only wish is that this class met more often!

The activity was defined enough that all the kids knew exactly what they were doing, yet it was open-ended enough that each person could make their own choices and be creative. My son was engaged in a way that I rarely see during organized activities. The instructor was very clear and paved the session well, and she took the time to connect with each student.
Improvements:
Maybe give the kids an opportunity to interact with each other? Something simple like asking them to notice something their partner did so they could relate to one another as artists.
