Application: Pre-College Conservatory at the Neighborhood Playhouse

Students will receive the same rigorous and disciplined Meisner training that the Neighborhood Playhouse has provided for almost 100 years. This three-week summer program is designed for talented, engaged, & dedicated students seeking professional pre-college level performance training. Faculty are professionals from the adult conservatory. Classes include: Meisner Acting, Acting on Pitch, Acting On-Camera, Movement for the Actor, Voice & Speech and Career Development.

When filling out the application be prepared to upload the following:

~ Personal Statement, up to 250 words, detailing why you wish to study acting at the Pre-College Conservatory at the Neighborhood Playhouse.
~ Recommendation Letter from someone known to you personally (family friend or neighbor) or professionally (director, coach, teacher, professional collaborator) who can speak to your character, personal achievements and/or work ethic, and what makes you a good candidate for the the acting program at the Playhouse.
~ Current photo (headshot not required)
~ Résumé is optional
~ $50 application fee
