In this program students' imaginations will skyrocket to the moon and back as they learn about the vast wonders of space through hands-on projects and scientific experiments. Aspiring astronauts and artists will explore distant stars and sparkling comets through activities inspired by space, including glittery galaxy paintings, marbled planets and rocket prints. Science lovers will delight in gooey green alien slime and plentiful planet experiments! Put on your space suits and artist smocks and prepare to paint shooting stars and make messes on the moon. 

The program schedule offers:

• Full Day creative program from 9am–3pm
• Rotating design themes led by teaching artists + professional educators
• Outdoor art-making or field trips to nearby studios + galleries (location dependent)

Artwork Pickup Policy:  We encourage Minni participants to take artwork home with them when they leave their activities, unless artwork needs to dry and cannot be transported. All artwork not picked up within two weeks of after the activity will be recycled.
