Learn about America’s involvement in World War II throughout the Scott Hangar. This tour includes the Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit, women's role in the war, paratroopers, and the aircraft that helped support and win the war. Tours also include Geronimo’s Interactive classroom where participants will view authentic World War II artifacts and experience hands-on learning.
To correlate this World War II Guided Tour specifically to your classroom curriculum, especially 5th grade standards, please advise when scheduling. Standards that can be met are SS5H6 and SS5H8.
Schedule: World War II Guided Tours last approximately 1.5 hours and will include Geronimo's Interactive classroom. Must be scheduled in advance.
Groups larger than 75 participants or more will need to allow for more time for their School Tour.
Group Size: Minimum of 10 participants for World War II Guided Tours.
Price: $7.00 per participant (ages 5 and up).
C-130 Experience: Participants in World War II Guided tours may add on exclusive inside access to a C-130 “Hercules” fuselage for $15 per group (25 per group at a time).
World War II Guided Tour is also offered virtually.
World War II Guided Tours may also be added on to ACE FIELD TRIPS for a total of $12 per participant.

Teacher chaperones are required for guided tours of students under 18yrs of age.
Safety/Behavior: Our campus is a public facility with many aircraft on display. Participants must follow all proper safety and behavioral instructions.
Guided Tour and Field Trip Programs:
• Teachers/Chaperones Responsibility
o Stay with participants at all times and ensure their safety.
o Monitor restroom usage. Restrooms are located on the first floor of the Eagle Building, the Century of Flight Hangar, Scott Hangar, Nugteren Hangar, and Space and Innovation Center.
o Ensure students are following all behavior rules below.
• Students/Minors
o Students will stay with their adult chaperone at all times.
o Students understand no running is allowed.
o Students will be polite and respectful to others who are visiting the Museum of Aviation.
o Students are required to use the stairs while in the Eagle and Century of Flight Buildings.
o The elevators are reserved for the elderly and mobility impaired visitors.
o Students understand that due to the historical significance of our exhibits and artifacts, they are not to touch or climb on any of the exhibits or artifacts unless they have been designated as an interactive exhibit.
o Students are not allowed to have gum, food or drinks inside the buildings, unless prior arrangements and authorization has been received by Program Coordinator.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations less than 2 weeks in advance and no shows, there will be a $50 processing fee.
Cancellations are accepted, and refunds are made for prepaid programs if cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to date of program.
