ARTS CAMP - Visual Art & Theater!
Does your kid love making art, getting messy and exploring their creative side? Get them enrolled in our ART CAMP!Get a full day of Arts Camp with our combo Camp with Child's Play NY! We're partnering with this amazing program to bring a full day of art camp to our Clinton Hill Studio.
Stoke your creativity, find your funny bone, and exercise your imagination in this special camp program. Mornings will be full of art making with trained teachers at Private Picassos, followed by afternoons of imaginative story-telling, led by professional actors from Child's Play NY. Campers will use themes and art from their morning sessions with Private Picassos, devising their own scenes and stories for a final performance for families at 3:30p on the last day of camp.
Info about Private Picassos’ Art Camp (9am-12pm)
Kids age 5-10 will explore weekly themes, working on individual and collaborative artwork. We'll spend 3 hours drawing, painting, sculpting, building, printing and more!
We’ll have two Art Classes per morning, along with 1 hour of Free Art Time, allowing kids to explore any of our In-Studio Art Projects at their own pace.
Brushes & Masterpieces: Exploring Painting Techniques
We'll explore traditional painting techniques using the following mediums:
- Watercolor
- Gouache
- Acrylic
Campers should come dressed for a mess with a water bottle, 2 nut-free snacks and one bagged lunch.

- 11:30am-12pm Free Art Time
Afternoon Theater Camp with Child's Play NY
- 12-12:45pm lunch and free play time at Private Picassos Clinton Hill
- 12:45-1pm pack up and walk to Greene Movements Yoga Studio (just around the corner from us)
- 1-4pm Theater Camp with Child's Play NY
- 4pm pick up outside Greene Movements Yoga Studio
Our camps have a max of 10 students per date. Two Private Picassos’ Art Teachers will lead each morning camp and two Child’s Play NY teachers will lead each afternoon camp.
- Please note that this full day camp requires a minimum of 5 students for this program to run. We will notify you a minimum of 2 weeks prior with any cancellations.

Other Things To Know
Requests for camp cancellations/changes must be made at least 2 weeks in advance via email. Credit will be issued for cancellations that are made within this time period. In the event of sickness, you can make up in a similar camp.
