Margaret is an amazing teacher!! She knows all there is to know about sewing and shares her expertise with you. The studio is bright and sunny with all needed materials and equipment. This is the best sewing experience!!

For the students who want to use their own machine- add the brother machine you recommend for beginners on the supply list.

teacher tailors (no pun intended) the class to fit the student. each one went at their own pace, whether very quick or a bit slower. she also taught a student how to make a project other than the standard pajama pants, which i think speaks to a degree of flexibility that's great in this craft
Improvements:
i don't recall if there was any way to inform the teacher of your skill level beforehand. i think it would be good if, before they started their first lesson, students could fill out a form saying whether or not they had any experience with patterns, machine sewing, etc.
