Flintknapping is the art and science of creating tools from stone. This ancient method was used for the majority of human existence to shape tools used for everything from aquiring food to making clothes. Archaeologists have used replication and experimentation to study how these tools were made and used.
This workshop focuses on making and using stone tools using our understanding of the chronological order in which stone tools developed.
