Learn to Knit! Beginner Knitting Workshop
Join the wonderful world of knitting! Host a party, or gather your friends at a cafe and learn a new skill together.
Knitting is relaxing, boosts creativity and feels good to complete projects. It feels even better to give handmade gifts.
This class is designed for adults, however, children as young as 8 can learn in a class environment ~ however, knitting is a great skill for any age!
Whether you just want a refresher or you have never touched needles, all levels can learn the basic knit stitch.
Supplies are included: a set of needles and skein of yarn.
In this two hour workshop, you will learn:
~all about yarn, and how to read a yarn label
~all about needles and tools for knitting
~you will learn the basic knit stitch and begin a headband
$50 per knitter, minimum of 6 knitters, max of 8. Includes supplies.
This is a single beginner class. To learn more skills such as casting on, binding off, other stitches or how to read a pattern select the two part Knit a Hat workshop.

You can change your headcount up to 2 days before the event, however the base package price remains the same.
$50 travel fee for areas outside of San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley

Host provides all refreshments, seating and chairs. Bench and chair rental available for $50.
