Spotlight Music & Theater is now accepting video auditions for our first pre-professional production of Alice by Heart!
This innovative musical reimagines the classic tale with a modern twist—set against the dramatic backdrop of wartime London, it blends fantasy, emotion, and resilience in a story that will captivate audiences.
We are looking for performers aged 18-25 who are ready to bring this unique vision to life. Please register and then submit your video audition to kristy@spotlightmt.com by April 15th. In person callbacks will be held April 27th 2-6pm at Spotlight Studios.
Class Requirements
- Please film a 32-bar cut from Alice By Heart or in the style of the show. Choose a song that shows vocal range and strong storytelling. No acapella
- Also, prepare the scene included in the charcter breakdown and read White Rabbit.

Meet your Instructors
Erin V.
Erin has been performing professionally across the country and all over the world for more than 14 years. Erin graduated from the Catholic University Benjamin T. Rome’s School of Music with a Bachelor in Music and emphasis in Music Theater. Having lived in NYC as a professional theater actress for 14 years and being behind the table for numerous casting sessions, Erin has first hand knowledge of what it takes to succeed as a performer and will help your child reach their fullest potential!
Kristy E.
Vocal pedagogue, Kristy Errera-Solomon, serves on the voice faculty of Bridgewater State University and teaches private students as well as class voice and musical theater courses. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, holds a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Boston University and a Master’s degree in vocal pedagogy from The Boston Conservatory. She has adjudicated thousands of auditions and help thousands of young performers reach their goals.
