Welcome to Drive Thru Teen Edition© ENCORE Cast!One unstoppable girl. One silver-spoon boy. Two rival drive thrus. Total drama.


Nikki has given up everything for her family’s diner. But when a shiny new fast-food chain moves in next door, survival gets even tougher.

Across the drive-thru lane? Chad—the spoiled heir to the enemy. He’s never worked a day in his life, but when he locks eyes with Nikki, things heat up fast.

But love won’t save them—a ruthless landowner wants them both gone. Now, Nikki and Chad must fight for their families, their future, and each other.

With high-stakes drama, class clashes, and killer ‘80s jams, Drive Thru is a brand-new original musical serving up a neon-lit love story with a recipe for disaster.

Class Requirements

  • All welcome. No experience needed.
  • Every registrant will perform in the show.
  • Stage time matched to each student’s ability, goals, and readiness.
  • Students must complete the video self-tape audition and in-person callback in June to be considered for a lead/named role.
  • Performances are Friday, July 18 at 7:30pm, and Saturday July 19 at 3pm and 7:30pm.

Sample Class Format

  • Running from 5 to 8:30PM, Monday through Friday, our rehearsal schedule offers a structured and enriching daily schedule designed to maximize learning and enjoyment:
  • Focused Skill Workshops: Each day is filled with dedicated sessions aimed at developing acting, singing, and choreography/dance skills. These workshops are conducted by experienced instructors who specialize in nurturing young talent.
  • Rehearsal Time: Integral to our daily schedule, rehearsals provide students the opportunity to put into practice the skills they've acquired. This hands-on approach is key to preparing for the final performance, allowing each students to shine.
  • Peer Mentoring: Our program values the importance of peer-to-peer learning and leadership development. Each day includes mentoring sessions, where students can both offer and receive guidance, support, and insights, enhancing their overall camp experience.
  • This well-rounded schedule ensures that each student not only learns the essential skills of musical theater but also develops important life skills like teamwork, leadership, and effective communication.

Cancellation Policy

Non-refundable $250 deposit required at registration. Withdrawal must be emailed to info@stpetemad.com, at least 10 business days prior to start. Not Prorated. A $50 processing fee is deducted from refund.

Artistic Director and Founder Dru Rabin, M.Ed., PMP, is an award-winning educator and a renowned leadership coach with a diverse 25-year experience. His unique career path blends performing arts with leadership development and organizational and community development, shaping his approach to arts education. Under Dru's guidance, St. Pete MAD cultivates personal growth and collaborative leadership, guiding students to discover their unique voice on stage and as a leader and community members.
